Founded by two women who know skincare and stress.

Basic is the brainchild of Tasmin and Cindy, two passionate humans from New Zealand. Tasmin is a beauty therapist with a world-class CIDESCO qualification and a deep love for products that actually work. Cindy is a brand strategist and designer with an eye for beauty and a talent for building things that last.

They met at Reveal Skin & Body, a boutique spa founded by Cindy and brought to life by a brilliant team lead by Tasmin. Their shared obsession with skincare (and love of a good margarita) sparked the idea for Basic.

What started as a search for the perfect SPF turned into something much bigger. Today, Basic is a calm-first, clutter-free brand that offers essential tools for better sleep, stronger hair, softer skin, and a slower life.
